How we think about serving.
Serving and Giving at KeHE Cares isn’t just a slogan—it’s a way of life. We walk with our marginalized brothers and sisters on the journey to dignity and wholeness.
What makes a great KeHE Cares partner?
We tend to partner with organizations that:
• are designed for smaller-scale, grassroots impact;
• have pre-existing relationships with KeHE employees; and
• take a dignified “hand-up” approach to relieving human suffering.
Partner Profiles
We partner with organizations across the United States and around the globe. Here are a few examples:

Restoring Hope Nepal
Restoring Hope Nepal is a partnership between overseers in Nepal and a Montana-based organization in rescuing trafficked women and girls from brothels in both Nepal and India.

Mission Lazarus
Through assisting people in need in Haiti and Honduras, Mission Lazarus seeks to cultivate dignity and purpose so that individuals can live abundant lives now and for eternity.

Male Mogul Initiative
The Male Mogul Initiative seeks to positively transform the way men of color live and lead in their communities through leadership and entrepreneurial development.
“Helping to bring hope to those that felt hopeless, although I was a very small participant in a massive recovery effort, I came away feeling positive about the human experience, and that people are good.”
KeHE Employee
A legacy of giving.
From our founding in 1952 by Art Kehe to Jerry Kehe institutionalizing our corporate giving by turning that over to the employees in 1989, KeHE has always given back to help those in need.

Hardship Support
Serving and Giving at KeHE Cares begins at home with KeHE employees. We provide strategic financial support that seeks to provide dignified, holistic relief for employees. When catastrophic events, unexpected medical costs, natural disasters, or other problems arise, KeHE Cares may step in to support an employee. We evaluate each request in a timely and respectful manner.

Scholarships
Education is one of the most important elements of moving from dependence to dignity. That’s why we aspire to see the students of our employees flourish through higher education for a brighter future. We evaluate each scholarship request based on need, academic achievement, and character. We review applications and grants requests during specific times of the year.
